A Santa Monica Engagement Session
These two gorgeous East Coasters are having a Southern California destination wedding. They flew in for their engagement session on an unusually dreary So Cal day, but that didn’t damper the mood. We headed to a variety of spots for these images, including the Casa Del Mar where they’ll be married next August. We can’t wait!

A Dockside Romance
It is our final day of Nautical Week, and we have had a ball sharing our take on nautical nuptials. To round out the week is a recent engagement session that we photographed at the Santa Barbara Harbor. These too (who just happen to be unbelievably sweet together!) are getting married this weekend, and we are thrilled to be photographing them again as they say ‘I Do’. A big congratulations to Sarah & Chris!

An Ojai Engagment–Part 2
Here is part 2 of the lovely Ojai engagment session that we shared on Friday. We were fortunate enough to photograph Tara & Andrew’s wedding over the weekend, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The ceremony took place beneath a huge tree nestled in the middle of a vineyard owned by Tara’s family. We can’t wait to share those images with you!
For now, here are few more images (post outfit change!) from their sweet engagment session that we photographed at Casa Barranca. The theme for this series of images arrose because of Tara and Andrew’s contrasting lineages. Andrew’s family tree dates back to the first baby born on the Mayflower, and Tara is a decendant of the Chactaw Indians. They have a running joke between them that the settlers did end up marring the indians after all. That and the fact that there is an actual tee pee on the property of Casa Baranca…who could resist such a cute and unique theme for thier photos! We love it!!

Carousel Love
Do you remember our recent carousel engagement inspiration board? Well, we had a sweet and fun-loving couple take us up on the idea and it turned out to be the perfect backdrop for their engagement portraits. Aren’t they cute?!?!
